Each module can be used on its own or rapidly assembled into groups or rows. The module 57-23 was developed in collaboration with Le Mobilier national as part of Les Canaux “Booster” support program for circular economy in the furniture industry. Integrated to the stool production process, the module 57-23 enables Soca Selliers to reduce the material scrap rate by 40%: manufacturing 10 stools generates enough waste to produce three modules 57-23. The production of 100 modules recycles up to 850kg of wood, up to 1.7m3 of PU foam and saves 150 meters of fabric from being scrapped.
Since 1982, Soca Selliersproduces bespoke furniture for hotels, restaurants, museums and communities, as well as specific architectural projects. The company was labelled Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (Living Heritage Company) in 2022.
